How are you? I hope everything is going great with you 🙂
In May and June, there are a lot of long weekends ahead (at least, compared to the rest of the year). So it’s perfect if you want to spend, once a week, a relaxing day without feeling guilty 🙂
The first step is to have a great breakfast. And just so we’re clear, when I say great, I mean a delicious, indulging breakfast. Think croissants or pancakes, or even better… both! Then, you have to step into the most comfortable outfit. My go-to uniform: a pair of leggings (which I wouldn’t be caught dead in outside the house – because leggings are not pants), an oversized sweater, and a pair of fluffy socks. Pure happiness.
And then, comes the fun part. You just binge watch one of your favourite TV show. For me, it is Pretty Little Liars, Gossip Girl, or One Tree Hill (yes, I’m that old :D).
And of course, you keep a book and a couple of magazines by your side. Because you know all the episodes by heart, you know when your least favourite scenes are coming. During these scenes, you have the time to read a chapter or a cool article.
Finally, you finish off the day with a pampering session. Right now, I’m obsessed with the brand Rituals. The products are crazy good and they smell incredible.
If you feel guilty spending a day without doing anything, well… just don’t. Because as they say: “A Sunday well spent brings a week of content”!
