Now that Spring is (almost) here, it is time to start a little bit of shopping. How about starting with the Trench Coat trend? The trend was seen on several runways: Celine, Maison Margiela, Valentino, Alexander McQueen, Loewe, Max Mara, and Dries Van Noten to name only a few.
Winter is coming here. Unfortunately, most of us can’t work from home; which means we have to get our asses off the bed, get dressed, and above all, we have to dress work appropriately. This can be a huge undertaking when it’s 0°C outside and when it’s dark when you get out the door. You know what I’m saying?
But just because it’s dark, and cold, and raining, and realllllyyyy difficult to be a responsible adult (ugh!), it doesn’t mean we have to go through all that unstylish. Right? So here are some looks that you can get some inspiration from for the next 2 months of winter – probably 3 if you’re Belgian 😉
Trench coat and pant suit
Nothing revolutionary, but boy it’s pretty! And classy. And empowering. I don’t know why, but anytime I wear a trench (or a long) coat I feel way more confident. Don’t get me started on the pant suit… And if you want to protect yourself from the cold, the coat will definitely do the trick.
I love office wear. It makes me feel powerful, and confident. Is it just me? It can’t be, I’m sure. Oh, and I love the colour gray. It’s as chic as black, but softer. So as you can imagine, I’m loving this business suits trend.
We saw that trend on various runway shows: Victoria Beckham, Calvin Klein, Stella McCartney, and Balenciaga.
I hope you’re all doing great and that you are surviving the cold 😉 In this post, I prepared a shopping selection to rock the “Space Odyssey” trend, that is: silver and galactic prints. To be honest, I don’t wear these kinds of pieces very often; but when I was preparing this post, I realised that maybe I should (just read the rest of this entry, and you’ll know why!)
The trend was seen on various shows, ranging from Chanel to Mary Katrantzou and including Chloé and Isabel Marant.
Let’s keep on going through this season’s trends. In this post, I selected some pieces for you to rock the double denim look. I guess it’s not the most revolutionary trend, and if I remember correctly it has been a trend for several seasons now. However, the good thing is you can invest in good pieces almost blindly because denim will never go out of style (happy face).
The trend was seen on several shows: Dior, Calvin Klein, and Stella McCartney.
After the “Code Red Trend” edition, how about we take a look at the Cup of Coffee one? What am I talking about? The fall-winter trends! Duh! Fifty shades of brown. This colour was seen at the Carolina Herrera’s and Lacoste’s shows among others.
I hope everything’s going great for you! In this post, I selected for you a few pieces from some of my – you know it – favorite brands that you can shop to rock one of this season’s trends: the colour red.
That trend was seen at NYFW and MFW; more specifically at Oscar de la Renta, Calvin Klein, Prada, Versace, Jil Sander, and Dolce & Gabbana among other designers.
In this post I’ll show you how you can pair two iconic pieces that you surely have in your closet: blue jeans and a white button down shirt. The point is you don’t need many different clothes to be stylish. And as a matter of fact, you probably wear the same pieces quite often (and denim is surely in the top 5, right?). So wouldn’t it be refreshing to pair your go-to pieces differently to create 6 distinctive looks?
How are you? I hope you’re all going great. I don’t know about you, but gosh I really need some sun right now! For those of you who are not in Belgium, you should know that it’s been basically rain, grey sky, a little more rain, and some grey sky again for a month (give or take). Put another way, we are in November! So no wonder that I’m craving some holidays. I have to hold on for two more weeks, and then I’m off (happy face)!
So, if like me you still have some summer trips ahead, this post is for you :). I put together 4 looks that will get you from the beach straight to the street! Sometimes it is just a pain in the a** to pack an outfit in your beach bag for after the beach; or – even worse – to go back to your hotel or apartment to get changed before hitting the streets for a quick bite to eat, for a gelato, or for some shopping. Wouldn’t it be easier if one single outfit could do the trick? Yes, definitely. Let’s have a look!
