First Monday of May means… the Met Gala. This year’s theme was Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination. Let’s have a look at what the lucky ones came up with! Here’s my 15 best dressed.
“En mai, fais ce qu’il te plaît… ”
Well, don’t mind if I do 🙂 All I want to do in May is to ditch my all-black outfits and rock some fun pieces: bright or light colours, flower prints (I know, that is so not groundbreaking), striped tees (you know how I love these),… It puts me in a good mood.
In these inspirations, you’ll find all of that and more worn by some of my favorite fashionistas: Alexandra Pereira, Jessica Alba, Miranda Kerr, Xenia VDW, and Julie Sariñana.
Week 1: May 1 – 6
In French, we say “En avril, ne te découvre pas d’un fil”. Basically, it means that we shouldn’t expect some summer weather in April just yet. However, I’m feeling quite optimistic, I decided to pick some very sunny-weather appropriate fashion inspiration. I’m sure you won’t hold it against me. Besides, I put together outfits from – among others – some of my (our?) favourite fashionistas: Alexandra Pereira (Lovely Pepa), Julie Sariñana (Sincerely Jules) and Miranda Kerr. Honestly, how can we resist?
Week 1: April 1-8
Sorry I’m late, I know that fashion month ended a couple of weeks ago but better late than never, right?
NEW YORK FASHION WEEK #NYFW (February 8th – 14th)
I’m sorry I’m late, I know 4 days of March has already passed but better late than never, right? As it has become a regular on my blog, let’s get some for our daily March outfits with these great looks.
Weeks 1-2: March 1-11
In need of some inspiration for your daily outfits? Let’s get some with these great looks from, among others, some of my favorite fashion bloggers: Lovely Pepa and Isabella Thorsden.
Weeks 1-2: February 1-11
coming here. Unfortunately, most of us can’t work from home; which means we have to get our asses off the bed, get dressed, and above all, we have to dress work appropriately. This can be a huge undertaking when it’s 0°C outside and when it’s dark when you get out the door. You know what I’m saying?
But just because it’s dark, and cold, and raining, and realllllyyyy difficult to be a responsible adult (ugh!), it doesn’t mean we have to go through all that unstylish. Right? So here are some looks that you can get some inspiration from for the next 2 months of winter – probably 3 if you’re Belgian 😉
Trench coat and pant suit
Nothing revolutionary, but boy it’s pretty! And classy. And empowering. I don’t know why, but anytime I wear a trench (or a long) coat I feel way more confident. Don’t get me started on the pant suit… And if you want to protect yourself from the cold, the coat will definitely do the trick.
Happy New Year y’all!
I hope 2018 will be everything you ever hoped for and more 🙂 I also hope that 2018 will be your most stylish year ever!
Since you probably haven’t had the time to think about what to wear for the weeks to come, I thought I could prepare a few looks to get you inspired. And I didn’t stop at one single week but I went for the whole month, because I’m feeling generous (and after all, why the hell not?!) 🙂
Week 1: January 1-7
