How To Wear the Fall-Winter 17-18 Trends? That Seventies Show Edition

The 70s.  Charlie’s Angels.  The original.  I’ve grown up watching these gorgeous ladies.  Hence, I’ve been super duper influenced by that show.  So I am more than disposed to rock that trend this season.

It was seen on Marc Jacobs, Prada, Chloé and Gucci to name a few.

How To Wear the Fall-Winter 17-18 Trends? Space Odyssey Edition

Hey there,

I hope you’re all doing great and that you are surviving the cold 😉  In this post, I prepared a shopping selection to rock the “Space Odyssey” trend, that is: silver and galactic prints.  To be honest, I don’t wear these kinds of pieces very often; but when I was preparing this post, I realised that maybe I should (just read the rest of this entry, and you’ll know why!)

The trend was seen on various shows, ranging from Chanel to Mary Katrantzou and including Chloé and Isabel Marant.

How To Wear the Fall-Winter 17-18 Trends? Double Denim Edition

Let’s keep on going through this season’s trends.  In this post, I selected some pieces for you to rock the double denim look.  I guess it’s not the most revolutionary trend, and if I remember correctly it has been a trend for several seasons now.  However, the good thing is you can invest in good pieces almost blindly because denim will never go out of style (happy face).

The trend was seen on several shows: Dior, Calvin Klein, and Stella McCartney.

After the “Code Red Trend” edition, how about we take a look at the Cup of Coffee one?  What am I talking about?  The fall-winter trends!  Duh!  Fifty shades of brown.  This colour was seen at the Carolina Herrera’s and Lacoste’s shows among others.

Let’s look at a little shopping selection!   Continue reading “How To Wear the Fall-Winter 17-18 Trends? Cup of Coffee Edition”

The Belle of the (Met) Ball

Hey there,

Hope you’re all doing fantastic!  So on Monday was the Met Gala 2016, organized for the benefit of the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York City.  I love the Met Ball, because it really is an opportunity to see dramatic dresses and fashion risks.  At least, that’s the way I see it.

Golden Globes 2016: My Top 10

Hey there people,

I’m so excited!!!  It’s awards season in Hollywood!!!!  Why do I care?  Why does anyone care?  Well, if you’re a nominated actress, I guess the answer is pretty obvious.  But why do we, mere mortals, get excited for these shows?  Because those beautiful and talented actresses step out in the most enchanting dresses that we can only dream to see from afar one day…

So here is my top 10 of the Golden Globes’ red carpet.  I could have selected many more looks, they all looked gorgeous, but if I had to choose my ultimate favorites, here they are…

10.  Taylor Schilling, in Thakoon.

Some might say that it looks like pajamas, but I like it.  It stands out from all the gowns, and I think it’s original, and sexy.  Black is the new black again!
