December. Let’s brainstorm. Snow. Sweater. Holiday. Layers. Cosy. Cold outside. Fire place. Faux fur. Boots. Christmas. Christmas’ Eve. New Year’s Eve. Sequins. Black. Beanie. Do we agree? Yes? All right. Now that we’re on the same page, let’s get inspired 🙂
Getting dressed in November. The key here is: layers. And oversized sweaters :). That’s what I love about fall. You can walk outside with just a sweater, or with a cute shirt and a long coat. In winter, it’s more complicated to get out without a full on onion look. So, let’s enjoy it while we can 😉
So, I know that NYFW ended more than 2 weeks ago, but hey, better late than never right?
I must admit I prefer the September fashion weeks. It’s February, I see the new spring/summer collections in stores. I can’t be bothered to think of next fall/winter. I’m so done with the grey, the rain, and the cold. I want some sun in my life for crying out loud! Still, if anything can make me look forward to being cold, it’s definitely fashion 😉
In this post, you can find my report on NYFW (ergo the very original title…): who are the big names? What are the big trends? Fun anecdotes and/or noteworthy moments? And what were my favorite fashionistas up to? Let’s have a look!
Have you recovered from too much eating (leftovers included), drinking, and not enough sleep? 🙂 I hope your first week back to work/back to school was not too hellish!
After over the top outfits and fancy accessories from NYE, I thought it would be a nice idea to go for a more understated look. I’m a girly girl, and If you read some of my previous posts you know that I ❤ ❤ ❤ sequins and glitter. But right now, after all these shiny looks, all I long for is a minimalist, simple, and comfy look in neutral tones. And what’s more comfy than a cosy knitted sweater? 🙂
