You want a recap of the most gorgeous looks seen on the runways of the haute couture fashion week? And if not the most gorgeous, at least my personal favorite? Then, let’s check it out!
Week – 1. Gift for everyone? Check, I got that covered. Menu ideas? Not really my area of expertise… Table decoration? Nope, can’t help you. Party outfits? Yeeeesss, I’m on it! I prepared for you a shopping selection including only Belgian brands 🙂
Holidays can be super stressful. What am I gonna wear? (That’s for an upcoming post my dears) What am I gonna prepare for my guests? What kind of table decoration am I gonna come up with? How am I gonna *survive* the season?
All these questions are legit. But in this post, I’ll answer another super duper important question: WHAT ON EARTH CAN I POSSIBLY BUY FOR EVERYONE AND HOW CAN I MAKE SURE THEY LIKE IT????? It could possibly be one of the most complex questions ever asked on the face of the earth. Right?! Nothing worse than to hand someone you love a gift that they hate. The look on their faces? It can be haunting. So here, I’ll try to prevent you from experiencing this dreadful situation. You can thank me later 😀
This week was Couture Fashion Week. Let me repeat. Couture. Fashion. Week. Put another way, it’s Dreamy-Gowns-OMG-I-Am-Dying Fashion Week. In this post, I selected for you my favorite looks of my favorite designers. For some (yep, you know it — Elie Saab and Zuhair Murad), I could have showed you the whole runway!
I’m also really excited to see who’s going to wear these beauties at the future awards shows 😉
Let’s have a look at the crème de la crème of Couture Fashion Week. All pictures are from Vogue.
Last week, the Palme D’Or went to Ruben Östlund for The Square. But it’s time for us to take a look back at the gorgeous looks we got to see on the red carpet (or rather, the red steps – les marches).
We continue our series about the SS17 trend. Today, we’ll talk about the deconstructed shirt trend. That’s a very interesting one, because that’s totally work-appropriate, and yet you put a trendy twist to the classic white button-down shirt. Love it!
The trend was seen on several runway shows, ranging from Alexander Wang to Mulberry.

Now, let’s see where we can shop pieces to rock the trend 🙂
The second week-end of Coachella just ended. Just like last week’s post, it’s now time to check out what the festival goers rocked during these couple of days. Oh, and don’t tell anyone but I’m kind of cheating because there are also sets of pictures from the first weekend…

Here are what some of my favorite bloggers and fashionistas wore during the second weekend of the festival: Christie Ferrari, Emelie Natascha Lindmark, Jamie Chung, Claire Rogers, Lindsi Lane, Vanessa Hudgens, and Xenia Van Der Woodsen.
Did you know it was Coachella? Just kidding, that’s all I’ve been seeing on Instagram for the past 3 days. Makes me want to be there even more… Well I can’t be there to enjoy the vibe or the music, but I can definitely enjoy the fashion.
Let’s see what the celebs and my favorite bloggers rocked during the first week-end festival, and where we can buy pieces to copy their looks 🙂

I spotted some trends: denim cut-offs, bare shoulders tops, prints, and monochrome outfits. Now, let’s have a look 😉
How are you doing? Are you enjoying Spring? I know I am 🙂
I was wondering, have you seen La La Land? I saw it in February, and I remember that when I got out of the theater I was all giddy. I wanted to dance, and I wanted to sing, and I wanted summer, … and I wanted to wear some colorful, flowy dresses. Just like Mia. I also want Ryan Gosling, but I think the “wearing colorful, flowy dresses” part will be easier.

I truly believe that an outfit can change your mood (Ryan Gosling could do that too). When I wear black, I mean business. When I wear fun prints, I feel quirky. When I wear colors, I feel happy. When I wear dresses I feel feminine. If we follow that logic, if I wear colorful dresses, I’ll feel happily feminine, right? Sounds awesome! Who wouldn’t want to feel that way?
If you live in Belgium (and I think it’s the same in Europe), you know that lately it’s been freezing!!! You’ve experienced temperatures that make you want to stay in bed (granted, I personally don’t need low temperatures for that. But I’m sure there are some reasonable people out there – you know like adults – who feel that way). It is so cold that you’re even afraid to step foot outside. You’d rather stay at home, wrap yourself in warm blankets, and drink hot chocolate in front of a Gossip Girl or Pretty Little Liars marathon. And that, all day long… Isn’t it how you feel? Because it is how I feel (probably too often). And I can’t believe it’s just me. It cannot be just me, right?
Anyway, even if we wish we could stay home, well it’s not really within the realm of possibility! We have to be a grown-up and take our responsibility (yuck!). We have to get out of bed. And get dressed. And brave the cold. But do we need to be cold and look like crap? Oh hell to the no! One may think that it’s kind of hard to stay stylish with temperatures below the 0°C, but one would be wrong. When it’s crazy cold like that, I like to bundle up in huge knitted sweaters. And it’s not such a bad thing fashion-wise. Oversized sweaters (and sweater dress) are fashionable, so you can totally look super stylish when rocking one of these and still brave the cold.
